Whos interested in a Whitewater feature on the White River

Post by Ben Rodda » Sun Nov 20, 2011 9:12 pm

A few people have been discussing the possibility of a new white water feature on the White River below Beaver Dam. However it seems that there is a real lack of intrest in the matter which I simply hope is not the case. I believe that there is some solid potential here however its going to take a ton of work to get it done. So let us know.... are you interested?

This is like asking a weight watchers class if they're interested in ice cream, a convention of bankers if they're interested in more money, a Kardishian if they're interested in NFL and NBA players.

Call me a prophet, but I predict a landslide vote in favor of this. ;)

I think that it actually is registering votes...

This is good to see. So far Me, Painter Bob, and Wavesport have been really invested in the conversation. I just wanted to make sure that people are into the idea.

At this point I would like to arrange for some kind of summit kind of thing to get our ideas together. Perhaps paddle the river and brainstorm locations as well.

What do you guys think?

Ben

Something inside of Fayetteville limits. I think maybe Fayetteville might fork out money for something unique like that. West Fork river side park would be easy and cheap to fix up with a ramp slide down to make a wave. I could see people getting hurt on, But people jump off the cliff and hurt themselves anyways so why not a wave to get hurt in too! Another spot Ben is in west Siloam Springs on OK 59 Hwy Lake Francis Dam. Ben I could show you this spot if you want just let me know 479-799-one-one-two two
