Meeting under the hwy 65 bridge (the take-out) north of Greenbrier. Leaving promptly at 10 for the put in.

We are putting in at my family's property, which is about 3 (river) miles above the campground. It makes it an 8-mile run, but since we've had so little paddling this season, we're looking forward to spending a day on the river.

Even at a leisurely pace, it takes no more than 4 hours. Shuttle is about 15 minutes one way. Should be a nice level -- hopefully about 3 ft.

Thanks Brad. He is fit and trim but buff from lifting weights. Bring it and will have to see if it fits. I have mine but is ladies that might fit but could be too big. He bought 2 rec boats recently and has a skirt, I am bring two helmets but if anyone has extra to let him borrow, if he dont' buy one today. He is slowly building up what he can when he has money. He is one of our MRI technologists where I work at Ark. Childrens Hospital. Just starting out but thought this would be good for him to get started. Talked with him about what to wear and not to wear, ext.

Who's meeting where in LR?

To clarify the timing: Mike and I will be arriving at the bridge about 9:45. We hope to load boats and work out the shuttle so we can leave for the put-in as soon as possible after 10.

Since a large group appears to be planning to make the run (fantastic!), it will take a little while to get organized, so probably won't leave the bridge until 10:15. But better to be early than late!
