Gary and I really want to go back and paddle up there. Sounds like the Eleven Point would be fun. Thank you for planning this trip for everyone. Great job.

Re: CURRENT & JACKS FORK OCT 16 - 20
I had a great time with you all again this year. Thanks, Louis!
One of the days I went meandering, I passed a sign for Devil's Well, on MO KK, near Aker's Ferry. It was very interesting. PLEASE make this a part of next years' float! There are many sites about it and the connected Cave Spring (largest underground lake) on You Tube. I didn't hear anything about y'all paddling up into a cave, so assume you missed it? Where the water runs into Current River, there's a cave big enough for several boats to paddle into.
This is also a good place for an interesting hike. I believe I saw a forest service trail there.

Looking forward to next year's float trip.

Thanks, Karla. That Devil's Well was an interesting place. It's 160 ft higher than the cave, I don't know how far from it. Hard to imagine a football-field size lake under it.

Jan,
I agree , there is so much to see, I know we'll be even more researched on the next trip. About four miles upstream of our take-out at Pulltite, we paddled up into Cave Spring, which I see now comes from Devils Well. I thought I'd seen a turn-off of Hwy 19 to Devils Well that day, but now see it on Google Earth where we indeed passed it on the way to Akers Ferry to begin our float. What a nice outing overall, I really hope to spend more time next year!
Best Regards
Jim
