7th annual NW Chapter Halloween Party 6pm October 28
I'd like to invite you all to the Clear Creek Headwaters Hideout for our 7th NW Chapter Halloween Party at 6:30 Friday October 28th.
Each year it keeps getting better! For those of you who haven't attended in past years, the chapter provides hamburgers, hotdogs, vegetarian options etc and we just ask that you all bring a side dish or dessert and BYOB
Same as last year, we are limiting the use of propane in the blowlogs, otherwise, full speed ahead
Costumes are encouraged, and there is LOTS of room for camping. Friendly dogs are welcome.
Grilling will start around 6:30pm, folks are welcome to come out anytime Friday to set up camp, hike or whatever.
Here is the most simple way to come
Directions: From Fayetteville take 540 south to exit 45 (Winslow and
Route 74) . At the exit turn left (east) and follow 74 for about 7
miles till you get to Winslow. You'll go down a big hill and then
you'll hit 'downtown Winslow'. Cross the Railroad tracks and take a
right on Main Street immediately after the tracks (you'll go uphill on
the road with the white guardrail bearing right at the fork). Stay on
Main Street until you pass the school yard on your left. At the four-way
stop, turn right onto Van Buren and then bear left onto Bromley. This
is RD 3296. Follow RD 3296 a half mile and make a left at the third
turn (RD 3297) and it will bring you down to the Railroad tracks.
Cross over the tracks and our house is the first one you'll see on
the left. Look for signs on the road to guide you to the party.

Wish I could make it for the fun this year. Will be the first time I've missed it, but can't travel that far with the wee one just yet. Somebody light a blow log for me!

A huge thank you to Eric Esche for his grilling expertise! As usual, you made the party so much better with your cooking prowess, marshmallows for the kids, fresh pumpkin bread and everything else you are always prepared for! It was a great time had by all! Kurt gets the "most dedicated" award for attending even after driving from Ohio all day!

It was GGREAT!! Thank you Tom and Stephanie!! And Eric, thank you for all the grilling!
We'll be back next year, kids in tow and be ready to make the caravan out to Richland. Gotta make a weekend of it... without a doubt.

I had fun as always when I am at y'alls house. And to who ever bought those beef paddies - those were the best I have ever eatten. Sorry I had to leave early.
We need to get more people to save up and bring more bacon grease next year for the short blow logs.
