Dry top/wetsuit leaking

Post by perspective7 » Mon Oct 03, 2011 6:03 pm

I usually wear a farmer John wet suit and dry top for cold weather paddling, and no matter how tight I make my drytop I always get water pouring in through the gap that is left in the wetsuit in the 'crack' of my spine. Any remedies for this? Got the same problem with my skirt in warm weather. You would think they would add a curved piece of neoprene in this spot to correct this?? :problem:

Yup, it works. Just glue the strip in the right spot. Does not work 100 percent but does help, or it did for me when I did it some years ago.

The best solution is a dry suit.
