Well Eric, if weather permits and your recovery goes well, maybe we can get a Buffalo Gravel Bar camp set up this fall. You do the camp fire and I will test out a Pineapple Cake and maybe (Bob has been coaching me) a cherry cobbler as well. I have found out Bob's Cobblers are just as good next morning with a nice cup of coffee!

Just let me know when and which section of the river. I'll provide the coffee and half and half. I got a large stainless steel campfire coffee pot for christmas last year and a smaller one for my birthday. and then Al Donaldson got Susan hooked on Javamania.com's Cafe Bella coffee and she says I make good coffee, leaded or decaf.

Mary agrees that it is good coffee. We gave her some of each coffee and a pot for her house. She made a pot of decaf the other day by mistake and did not realize that it was decaf until she went to make some more.

Did not get to paddle this weekend. Too much lightning for Terry Price's Season Finale kids/family float, But I did get to go out with Mary today in sea kayak and plan to again tomorrow. Knee is getting better, just slower than I would like.

Sorry if I get cranky with anyone when in pain. I'm really trying my best. It depends on when you catch me I guess. Think I verbally have been abrupt with a few who couldn't hear that it was not a goodtime to talk or ask. Dr. Dickenson up-ed estimates of how long for me to recover this week to 6 months as I heal slower than they thought. All I know if that I am in far more pain than anyone ever said and there are days/nights when nothing stops it, until I crash from lack of sleep 2-3 days/nights later,, and then it is in more pain than ever before. It depends on when you catch me. Please forgive if i am not my normal self.

Eric

Stay with it Eric.

Long dry hot summer and we all need some river time!
