Saw on craigslist

Saw this on paddleswap/craigslist 4-5 hours across the line in Missouri and Know Susan says I have enough boats, so thought I would pass it on. Do not know any other details and have no connection to this boat, but thought it might possibly be worth checking out if someone was looking for a cheaper canoe. Guess it depends on your MPG, location, and the condition of the canoe. I went up there in June to pick up a sea kayak for someone, but they are harder to find and pricier. Gas up there and back in a 17MPG Pathfinder was about $130. Not available this time as a buying buddy or transport due to rehab from Knee replacement and oral surgery.- Eric Esche

Bought used in 1999, but has been very rarely used on good water only by an accomplished canoeist. Excellent condition, always kept indoors or under cover, never been pinned, flipped, sunk, etc. during my ownership. Wood braces are still healthy (not cracked/dry), nylon web seats are comfortable. Keel-less canoe - highly maneuverable with shallow draft. Moving to TX - not anticipating much whitewater action there...
