I've not been to Camp Couchdale. Where does everyone stay for Rondy?
Thanks.

@ Jan. You can camp which is free. Large fields to set up in. You could also rent a bunk in an air conditioned cabin for $10.00 per night. All accommodations are at camp couchdale.

@potterspoint....camp couchdale is situated right on Lake Catherine so there will plenty of flatwater paddling to be had. Alsothe float from remmel dam to rockpoft is pretty much flat the whole way.

This is a great event for the entire paddling family. Whether you like to paddle flatwater or whitewater or anything in between. There will be something for everyone. So come on down and fellowship for the weekend with your paddling family. :kayak:

Could one bring a travel trailer? I have a small (18 ft) one I want to try out.

I don't see a problem with that Bob. There aren't any hookups. If that's cool with you, then bring it on. See ya at vous!

A Quick word as Rendezvous is quickly approaching to make your plans easier and because I've had a couple of questions related to this.

Camping: Tent camping, etc..(no RV hook-ups, but if you have a small travel trailer, I don't see where it would be a big deal) is free for Rendezvous. They are done on a first come/first serve basis, so the earlier you arrive on Friday, the more choices you have on where you pitch your tent. Now there are unofficial quiet campsites, away from the main area of Rendezvous. Just know that if you camp in the big field, you'll probably be up later than the rest.

Cabins: Couchdale has been gracious enough to allow us to set the pricing on the cabin rentals. We have access to Arkansas Hall, which will sleep approximately 90 people. This will also be first come/first serve and you can get a room assignment at the front gate. The cost for a room/bunk is $10.00 per person/per night, but we're capping it off at $30.00. For example, a family of 4 wouldn't pay 40.00 per night, only 30.00. Make sense? If we fill up Arkansas Hall, we may have access to another cabin....The cabins are very nice, with air conditioning, bunk beds, and showers/toilets, etc...You will need to bring your own bedding, etc...for the bunks.

Hope to see everyone at Rendezvous this year for a great time with great friends!

A Quick word from our sponsors....This is the proof from the back of the shirts and a note that also sponsoring the Rendezvous is Ashley's Building & Construction and River Hydrology Design.

A BIG THANKS TO ALL THE SPONSORS OF RENDEZVOUS!!! Its through their giving and generosity that Rendezvous is able to be FREE FOR ACA MEMBERS this year!!!

Also this year, several vendors have stepped up for several events.

On the silent auction, expect donations from Academy Sports, Ozark Outdoor Supply, Werner Paddles, Petzl, The North Face, and ShredReady.

Also E.N.O. Hammocks is sending the makings for our very own ENO HAMMOCK VILLAGE....It will be a place to hang-out and chill out in the shade in an ENO Hammock....they've also thrown in a few slacklines for the more daring folks....

DON"T MISS OUT ON A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Thanks again to all of our sponsors and supporters.!

Based on the last post, can I assume there will plenty of places for me to pitch my hammock tent??? This will be my first Rendezvous and my first time at Camp Couchdale, so I'm unfamiliar with the territory. :) Looking forward to it!!
