Ozark Creek showed 2.7 this afternoon.

It was good while it lasted. From shortly after 3, until about 5:30, things were prime. After that it dropped out, but tubers and swimmers continued to have a good time for awhile.

Is it on today (Sunday)...i.e. every weekend for awhile?

Every weekend until Labor day. But be aware - unless there is more rain, it could become a 3 hour release, which provides only about 45 minutes to 1 hour of really good play before the level begins dropping again at the ledge.

Still worth doing for those that live close, but a real bummer for our out-of-state friends.

I left you a detailed message about this when you called yesterday. Release is noon till 4 - like Heather said, it gets good around 3:15, but you can always go early and toodle around. There's still things to do. I am guessing I will be there early today since we are seeing a 12pm movie in Benton and then headed there.
