ocean kayak

I have a crack in the bottom of sit on top ocean kayak. Does anyone have a suggestion of the best product to use to seal the crack?

What is it made of? Pics? Some of those plastics can be welded pretty easy.

Several things to try;

1) I assume you mean the brand, Ocean Kayaks. Call them for advice - they will know if their plastic is of the "weldable" type or not

2) Search for "plastic welding" on this message board. I think there is a thread somewhere that describes melting down plastic army men (or pieces of an old boat) to do your own welding. But your second job will be far superior to your first - keep that in mind, as this will be your first!
