If you're worried about the safety of a river why not run something easier than richland? That's what I don't get.
Why don't we go to all the more difficult rivers and make them all class 2.

What are the chances the concrete is still there.Richland has had a couple high water events this year

That's why I haven't run it, I know better than to get in over my head. However, bad things do happen to experienced paddlers as well.
