Any type of kayak would work... playboat, creekboat, river runner, rec boat, sit on top, etc. They each have their own distinct advantages/disadvantages. More diverse the players the more interesting the game in my opinion.

We've even had a solo canoe show up & play, which added a whole new dimension to the game & he did great.

I am new to the ACC and have never played boatball before, but if you all are ok with a newbie, I am in for Tuesday or Thursday

It looks like we would only have about 4 players this evening and you need at least 6 in my opinion. So unless we get more responses soon then it would be wise to postpone. There still isn't a unanimous decision as to which evening to play.I know I'm changing the day I would like to play but it might be better for some other folks. How about next Thursday at 6pm.This will give everyone plenty of notice to come on out.I'l bring the equipment! Of course I've never played before, but I would agree that 6 people would be funner than 4--but if we can round up enough folks I am up for tonight, this thursday, next thursday or whenever!

F.Y.I. - I'm bringing a cooler full of cold bottled water and sodas, left over from the last meeting, so we can try and stay hydrated.
Paddle on,
