Liquid Logic Stomper

Post by ckuntz » Fri Jun 24, 2011 10:04 pm

Any one familiar with the new Liquid Logic Stomper?
Lines look pretty interesting.. Jefe with edges, maybe more volume in the bow.
Pretty sweet looking creeker, may be my next creek boat.

I hope OOO doesn't get a demo.

I hope it is not available in any of those new Black Ops color schemes.

I hope it doesn't actually make it to market for 2 or 3 more years.

I hope the outfitting sucks, and that it weighs more than (not the same as) every other creek boat.

And I especially hope it doesn't surf pretty good for a creek boat (like the blog said it did).

(The bad part is, I really like my Villain S, it's just that when I bought it I was also considering a Jefe and I'm wondering if I would like this new LL design even more than the Villain...)

Cowper, I hope you don't get a Stomper and I hope you don't sell your Villain S to someone for really cheap so that it can be converted to a C1.

I actually set safety on Jihad which is the last rapid on the SSV during the creek race so I got to see it in action! It reminds me of a hybrid Burn/Jefe. Edges are nice but not nearly as defined as the burn. Top of the boat is more Jefe-like.

Beware, a "few" days for Cowper could equal a years worth of boating Richland for mere mortals.. How many laps in ONE day was that, not too long ago, Cowper?

Paul, if you're seriously wanting one there is a villan demo for sale at lewis and clark... I think they were asking $829, a little high for a demo if you ask me but they said it will be on sale this weekend.

I am always talking about buying a boat, and rarely actually buying.

Besides, I would need to rip all of the outfitting out of it... I might as well order one without that stuff and end up paying about the same as their demo price.

Shep, living here in Charlotte, quite a few people have seen Woody and Shane on the Green in these recently. Everybody seems to be pretty impressed with the boat. Like yourself, I have to remove all the useless garbage in boats and retrofit them to make them usable. Given LL is a paddler's company, it would not surprise me if they were willing to discuss a naked boat. Although I do not think I am going to take advantage of it, they were willing to do this for me with the run of Stingers they are going to do this year.
