I'm in the market for a beginner's river/recrational kayak. Can you send a photo, along with any information about the differences, if any between your two, and accessories available? I have no paddle, life vest, carrier, etc. Also, where are you located? I'm in Fayetteville.

I'll weigh in and say that for a beginning rec boater, a Loon could easily fit the bill. Good on Class one and II, has some storage (you could camp out of it), super stable. A little heavy to load load solo, but that's true with a lot of rec kayaks (and almost all rec canoes... so ....)

And the price is very fair. If you paddle it for a year and get the itch for something more WW capable, I'd bet anything that you could get back your full purchase price by putting it on Craig's List when the kayak market heats up in April-May of next year.
