This boat was used by a previous owner in a 240 mile river race in Michigan which included 4 or 5 dams and finished the race in 1-1/2 days. The Loon was designed by Verlen Kruger for his 28,000 mile trip around North America; he used both canoepaddles and kayak paddles in his original Loon on that trip. This Loon was built May 21,1985 at a cost of: $1,499.00 XK G/W (as documented by Sawyer Canoe Co.).

The boat has been well-cared for and stored in garage or covered (in shade) by previous owner and stored in the garage during my ownership. In quite good condition.
