GoPro rear deck mount

Post by Shep » Sun May 15, 2011 2:42 pm

We've all been watching the fancy behind-the-back POV footage, and I'm bored and done with classes for the semester, so I'm going to try and build one. Going to try something like this:
http://worldkayakblogs.com/jscreekin/20 ... yak-mount/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Please don't point and laugh if you see me testing it on the Mullberry.

I'll post with photos and info on how it works out.

Meh... Got to the hardware store, and started counting up how many things I was buying. I decided to put this off for the time-being. Maybe next week (or month).

I have never seen pictures of the mount, but I bet this is similar to Chuck's/

The thing that I want to do before I spend a bunch of money is figure out how far behind me the camera really needs to be. I have a nice flat deck close to me, but a really curvy surface further back. I might have to throw a 45 degree angle on it to get the camera far enough back, or something like that.

*Still thinking*
