Just found out at Dicks in Hot Springs they have the Guide 169 for $699. Does anyone have any experience with it? Apparently it's a d*ck's exclusive from Old Town. Does that mean it's not as good as a normal Old Town canoe? The specs look almost identical to the Discovery 169.
Thanks!
Kevin

Have you check out Craig's List? At that price point, that's going to be a very heavy poly boat and you can get a NICE used Royalex boat for that same money.
Also if you are in reasonable throwing distance of NWArk call Ozark Mtn Trading Co. They always have a lot of used trade ins, too. Truly, you can do significantly better for the money (or get a similar quality boat for way LESS money).

Don't know if I posted this on your other thread or someone else's, but Southfork resort's website says they have used canoes/kayaks for sale.

I have a old town rec boat that I would sell for $450.

I've checked Ebay and Craiglist and have only found a couple of canoes within 100 miles.. I'm about 4 hours from Ozark Mtn Trading but I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they have.. Thanks!
