Apparently I do have to order it in the store to get the $699 deal.. I'm still checking Ebay and Craigslist. Haven't seen but one close enough to go look at. Thanks for the info.. Kevin

What part of the state are you in?

WHOOPS. Found the answer on a previous page. Look caring how old the canoe is when shopping used is generally kind of silly. I paid $800 for a canoe that is probably at least 15 years old because of what it was (tandem whitewater) and the condition it was in.

Paying $600 or $700 plus tax for something new vs. $400 for something even 20 years old is not necessarily the smart calculation. You've gotten at least two good leads here, it seems...
