That might depend on what time you run it Friday.

Now, Cowper you know we don't have time to be sawing on any trees since the canoe school people have to be off the river by 3.

Cowper, look at Roadblock real hard and see if you think something is different(I think the rock got rolled on it's side) dale

Dale
I think you are right, something is different about Road block it seemed the large rock in the middle is more down stream.

Renee, Top Ten Reasons I have no choice in the matter (OK, top six):
1) Haven't you heard about the Frog and the scorpion? (Its in my nature.)
2) It could be a matter of life and death.
3) It only takes so long, because so many enjoy watching and so few actually help.
4) If you have shuttle set, we'll have plenty of time. Have 5.5 hours from 9:30 to 3; only takes about 2.5 to run the creek, or 4 with a group. That leaves about 1 extra for playing at Roadblock.
5) If you don't have shuttle set, I'll head downstream while you're setting it, and then wait for you at Roadblock. That way you won't have to wait on me at all.
6) Lance told me to.

Well, although Cowper may be abnormally excited about ensuring other people's safety, I'd hardly call that crap...anthony wrote:Watched Cowper get wood while removing the wood from roadblock today. He enjoys that wood clearing crap.

Looked pretty crappy from my view point. Climbing all over trees that are stuck in a bad spot will always be crappy to me. Just sayin.

Given that Anthony was right there with me, and all of us were getting after it, some dancing on the large boulder overlooking the scene, some belaying, some tugging on ropes, some carrying pieces to safer resting places, one dancing on the midstream rocks with me, I'm taking all comments in the context that we were ALL just having a blast!
I've been trying to figure out some of my past incarnations.
I'm pretty sure that the list includes "pack rat" and "beaver".

I agree with ARZack, Cowper, Lance and all, keep alot of creeks and rivers clear and safe for all of us to enjoy. I appreciate thier efforts greatly.

Don't recal seeing any wood but I do recall eating a lot of humble pie there. Couldn't figure out why every one was carrying around the "itte bitte" drop on the left, or why no one was running to the right. "Heck", I said to myself, "what's the deal!" Well, I found out when mt boat got stuffed neatly in the "ittle bittie" slot on the left and I got to step out of the boat and swim down stream. HUM, Hum, that pie sure is good for the soul at times. Thanks Joe for waiting on me.

Cowper I always wondered why you got such a kick out of removing wood from creeks, but after playing hopscotch with you on that rock I think I may know. It's because it's fun.
