looking

Hi, I am considering a trip to AR with my 18 year old son. We have some kayak experience but mostly lazy floats. We are looking to take it up a notch. Nothing too difficult.

If anyone knows of a good river to fish and kayak that has reputable outfitters to gear us up and a good mix of both I-III rapids and lazy floats (fishing) please advise me!

We are open to any and all suggestions, but do not want anything too extreme.

Thanks in advance!

you'll have to wait for awhile. Buffalo, Kings, Mulberry, Piney, Caddo all have outfitters and fishing

The Mulberry sounds like what you are looking for to me. It's a step up from a lazy float trip but has long pools good for fishing. Turner's Bend and Byrd's are the outfitter's there.
