Clear Creek

Post by Sir Kayakalot » Sun Apr 24, 2011 6:38 am

Not sure if the frog gauge is reading correctly,
but there is 0" air space under the Ash st. bridge.
Brent, Aaron and I are meeting there at 8:00 am
to set shuttle and run from Chester down. Depending
what the weather does, we're hoping to run the
upper Clear Creek after that. Anyone is welcome
to join us. 479-461-7671.

Thanks for the visual as that seemed off from the gauge. How was it?

I was bored and went to look at the Ash St bridge. It was way under water around 1:30 today. Clear was real high today too. I'm really hating being hurt!

Clear Creek is way up. The Ash St bridge is way under and in need of some road work. Schaeberg was too much for me. Really bad strainers... Hiked out. I would like to go from the church to ash St. Tomorrow. There is still lots of rain falling.

We put on at Schaeburg. Ran into a few strainers
the first mile, after that it was a clear run. Lots of
good surf waves and boogie water. The water was
rising the whole time we were on it. Ran it all the
way to ash street bridge. All in all it was a great way
to spend Easter. With the rain we're still getting, it
should be good to go for a few more days. If you've
never ran it , you need to get on it, lots of fun!

Glad you are all having fun! Haven't seen a drop of rain all week where we've been ... did have some snow yesterday though ;-)
