HOT SPRINGS CREEK CIRCA 2001

While I'm stuck at home recuperating from back surgery, I'm going through some old photos. That's Bob Stout in the Mohawk Probe 12, on the day we first paddled together, the first trip down Hot Springs Creek for both of us. This was also my first outing after taking a year off from paddling to let a tendon in my back heal. I was using a tiny $6 wooden paddle from Wal-Mart to keep from loading my back much. Nice shots Mike. I hope to see more photos and good luck on the healing up.

Mike,

That was a great trip -- would love to have an 8x10, it you could have it worked up - I would reinburse the cost, plus postage, etc.. I've still got the canoe - would take it out of moth-balls for another trip down Hot-Springs Creek, after you're back in the "paddling business".

Keep in touch, and I'll be sending you "good thought" on your up-comming surgery.

Bob

I'll bet I can work that out, Bob. I'd like to send the photo to the parks department in Hot Springs for them to use in advertising if that is ok with you.

The healing is a lot rougher than I expected, about opposite of the easy time I had with the first back surgery in 2009.

Let me know about using the photo.
