To me has to be the old buck n flush on lee creek. Back in the 90's that is where I learned to hole ride. Spent many late afternoons till dark thirty wearing my a** out on that feature. When the level was 8 to 9 feet it had some pretty good teeth to it. Doing 360 spins in my perception piourette.

Now its pretty much just baby buck after the big flood.

Many years ago, I dropped into Cindy’s in my Eskimo Zwo, did a couple of Donkey Flips, did some splatwheels up against the big river right rock and paddled on downstream. (Actual events may vary from MY memory of the incident  )

(Translation = did not successfully punch hole, windowshaded, got tumbled out of control, but I did paddle out without swimming)

As for Best/Favorite I was going to answer I can't remember. It has been so long since anything has ran around here. But in hopes of things turning around soon, I will have to say I am bias to #2 and #3 at Dierks. Also have had many a good rides at Rockport. Wister and the old Tulsa Wave are high on the list for me as well. Really I just try to make the best, and have the most fun on whatever will run next.

But for something different for your list, my favorite play RUN, Upper Little Missouri, over 60”. Biggest wave trains in the state and could be the best play run (but I have only ran/caught it once) Lower Little Missouri + 60”. Also on the Cosatot somewhere in the 6’-8’ range a great wave/hole forms on river left just below Sandbar Bridge. The eddy is short but works. The ledge in the middle of the Esses at the same level can be fun. but eddy service is poor.

Make it rain, lets go boating!

Lee Creek - Football Field stretch - water level 15 feet and above - huge glassy waves one after another.

The Ledge on Lee Creek.

West Cedar Creek at flood - awesome surfing all the way down. Combine this with a high water run on Lee Creek in the same day for a great surf fest.

Honorable mentions - Sugar Creek and Spirits Creek at high water.

Yep, it's Arkansas the river, but not Arkansas the state. Close enough...
Let there be rain!
