Sorry folks.. been out of town. Funeral in the morning. Was hoping some of the vets would have hollered. I will see if showers are happenin Wed. Sounds like a campground base camp is the consensus?

Works for us. Let us know which one. Hannah is looking forward to seeing her river buddies again.

I am thinking N Maumee to Buffalo point? What say ye?

This will be a good set up for car campers at Buffalo point.... any that want can camp on river bars... and if some wish.. they can continue to Rush on Sunday

Remember. You are responsible for yourself.

I plan to call the park a little later and will post again with a few more details. Sorry but now I am off to a service.

Sounds good to me!

Unless weather changes my mind, I plan to stay and go on to Rush.

Jan,
I am interested in going on to Rush with you on Sunday. Would you like to shuttle with me. Will we shuttle from Buffalo Point to Maumee North and return to MN for base camping Saturday night?
Will we be camping at the Buffalo point campground? What area do you all usually camp in? Do you do the tent only or do you use a site with electricity. Would like to head up that way Friday morning and set up at BP. Will be camping out of the back of my camper. If you would like to stay F,S and S. Can bring a small trailer with a load of firewood for campfires and cooking. Send me an e-mail Mikki

I'm wanting to come up and do a day trip. However, I'm nursing a back injury that needs to heal or else it will be knife time again. May or may not make it. I'll keep watching.

BP sounds good. Clan Crawford is going up Thur. I think we're gonna base camp. Will be in the walk-in tent camping, probably the end by the bathhouse. Look for a Kelty that looks like an igloo. If we can get an early enough start on Sun. we will probably go on to Rush.

If anyone gets there Thur. or early enough Fri., and wants to; we might run up and float Spring Creek back to the bridge or BP on Fri. It would mean floating some of the same water twice (this float is part of the N. Maumee to BP float) that the group is doing on Sat. Let us know.

Buffalo Point? Okay sounds good to me - I will leave tomorrow after work (around 4pm from St. Charles) and arrive there late Thursday Chris, but would be willing to float on Friday. I'll be in a blue ford SUV with a yellow/orange kayak on top and a black minature doxie in my lap.

Hey Mikki - you wanna go?

Just talked to Buffalo point. The take out there is and will not prolly be fixed. If you need to drive to the water, better plan on Hwy 14.

Also.. he said the campground is filling fast. Might want to do a reservation. Some of the other spot that do not have showers and such may be less crowded.

I have found out I may have to return Sunday.. no camp Sat

Annie,
I plan to come but will not be starting up that way until Friday morning. I am taking the grandbabys to the zoo tomorrow to see the penguins and spending the night with them Thursday night.

Hope Coursey's at Silver Hill is back open. I am so hungry for some of their smoked cheddar cheese and summer sausage. They were closed the last time I was through there.

Should we reserve a group site for the 2 nights?
