Any ideas on this mold???

Post by drparrothead » Sun Mar 13, 2011 7:16 pm

I scored this from a farmer next door that had been using it as a feed trough. It's two piece, bolt together, 16 feet long, and is on casters...there are no identifiable markings. I know it's been in his field for at least 20 years. The outside has a good amount of splashed resin, with the inside perfectly clean. Obviously it was for fiberglass canoes, maybe vacuum forming??? Any ideas on how old, what company may have used it, and most of all......can we use it again?!?!

Eric hooked me up! Long story short, it's going to be a feed trough again ;)

Looks more like fungus than mold.

spray it with concrobium
it will kill the mold at the roots
you can get it at home depot.

Aren't you gonna tell us it's story? How was it used?

Just cut the legs off and float in the lower half, it's got a 'mean' keel on it
