Expensive day on big piney

Post by anthony » Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:04 pm

I saw 2 things today that totally blew my mind.

1. Kokatat dry top tore at the seams

2. Jackson crosslink fun cracked on a minor boof.

I swear the river gods were out to get us today.

The top busted on 1 2 3 surprise and the boat broke in rollercoaster. Needless to say it was sad to watch those guys limp back to long pool. Did you go back and try to find that camera chuck?? I hope kokatat and Jackson live up to their warrientes.

New respect for duct tape here also! Here are a few pix from our slacker trip on Monday. Off work, callin' in, just plain ol' not workin'.....I'm going to put some tape on my paddle for sure...genius!!! This was my virgin trip on the Piney and it was awesome besides all the darn things that went wrong...First I'll start of with a pic of the boat repair...then a few others...there are abour 45 pix and a couple of videos on my flickr site from this trip if anyone is interested+plus a seal launch into Mother! by Anthony...check the link on the bottom of my post. And, if anyone has access to the group pic, I would dig a 'copy' of it... my e-mail is available below somewhere...
