Dallas Waves update - lots of progress

Post by Big Daddy D » Fri Mar 04, 2011 11:24 am

Lots of progress has been made over the past month on the park. A lot more city officials are now jumping on board and getting behind it. The Dallas Park Board came to visit yesterday and we put on a kayaking demo for them. They also approved new modifications and revisions to make the park even better and safer. It just goes to show that if you get a few of the right people in local government on board, it can have a positive snowball effect.

Need to get Dave Holl out there with a Dynamic Duo and give rides to some of the park board members, media personalities, and other VIP-types. Might turn a few folks from neutral or positive to strong proponents or evangelists!
Let there be rain!
