Sunday 2/20 Buffalo Float: Erbie to Pruitt
Organizing plans for a float from Erbie to Pruitt (~7.5 miles) on Sunday for folks attending the ACC Winter Retreat and Board Meeting near Jasper or any others who want to meet and come along.
Tentative plans are to meet at Pruitt 9:30am on Sunday. I will add other details before the weekend.
Cheers,
Heather (aka Lupe)

I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.

Update: meet 9:30am at Pruitt, and Buffalo River Canoes will provide shuttle service (please bring $7 shuttle fee - exact change!) so we can spend more time enjoying the river, and less time driving!
Please RSVP to membership@arkansascanoeclub.com so that I have an accurate head count for BRC to make shuttle arrangements.
Although the forecast is for the 60's the water is still quite frigid (mid 40's) so please either dress for cold water and/or bring extra warm clothes in a dry bag. Also please be aware of rules/regulations that apply:
Please note, this is not an official club sponsored event - just a group of friends heading out to enjoy the water!

- Glass containers are prohibited on the Buffalo National River.
- Ice chests must have the lids secured so that contents stay put in the event of an overturned boat.
- Open beverages must be placed in a floatable holder, such as a can koozie.
- You must have a trash bag on board (1 per boat).
- Each person must have a Personal Floatation Device (PFD) and wear it.
Please note, this is not an official club sponsored event - just a group of friends heading out to enjoy the water!

No glass bottles. Maybe put Evan in a camelback?

We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.
