Request for loaner gear for UALR cardboard boat race.

Tom emailed me and asked if the UALR pool could borrow some life jackets and paddles (he said at least 10-12) for a Cardboard boat race that is being held on February 18, which is next friday.
I told him I thought we (as a group) would probably be able to accomodate him, as the UALR pool has been so good to us for a long time. This is our chance to give back a little.
So if you have an extra life jacket or paddle (he didn't specify sizes, so I guess whatever you have will work) that you can loan him for the cardboard boat race, please get in touch with me, and we can get something worked out to get it to him.

You will get your gear back, but labeling anything you loan with a name, number, etc. wouldn't be a bad idea just in case.

I have some PFD's and paddles. What PFD sizes do you need? Paddles are mostly about 60"

Talked to Joe a few minutes ago; he says they now have enough PFD's, but he would still like to collect a few more paddles.

He wasn't really told whether they wanted canoe paddles, kayak paddles, or a mixture.

I'm taking three more canoe paddles to add to the pile.

Stuff may be left with the life guards at the UALR pool.

I have 2 break down kayak rec paddles I can loan. I'll try to get away from work in time to drop them off tomorrow night, and then hopefully join y'all for some eats apres pool time.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been out of pocket the last day or so.
We are good to go on the paddles and jackets at the pool! The boat races start at 1:00 p.m. today, so if you've nothing else to do I bet they wouldn't mind if you came to watch.

Tom sends his thanks for all the support from everyone, as do I.
This is a generous group, and I had no doubts everyone would come through. To those that loaned gear, I will make sure it gets back to you. To everyone else that offered, we certainly appreciate your willingness to help out!
