Anybody have or know someone with a Dagger Caption to sell? Or would trade a Dagger Dimension for a Caption.

If you are not trying to get "old Royalex", you can also look for a Mad River Caption. The Caption was the only hull that Confluence transferred from Dagger to MR when they stopped making Dagger canoes. The Ocoee went to Bell, and as far as I know, all the other hull molds are sitting in a warehouse somewhere in North Carolina.

From what I've been told, my Dagger Caption was the 'last' one. I would never consider getting rid of it! It still has the warranty stickers on it. A great boat to paddle in WW. It's most happy in water where there is a large chance of carnage :clap:

I have a blue caption with 2 of the hard plastic pedestals that you can sit up or kneel down on. I believe the seats are perceptions?....but not sure without looking. It's not outfitted...the seats are loose and ready to be mounted. The boat is in really good condition. I'd take $450 for it and the seats.

Those definitely sound like the rotomolded perception saddles. If you buy the boat, and determine they are not for you, there is a (small) market for them. You should be able to unload them on Boatertalk or cboats.net.
