I probably will not be there. Susan's dad is out of hospital a week tomorrow, but they will be needing my help around their house at least another week to be safe.
I now have had a refresher on how to measure blood sugar and how to give insulin shots, and about diabetic cuisene.

And while JM is in the shape he is, BEER is definately out of his diet. He told me to quietly put the remaining ones in the outside fridge out of their misery while I pet his pointer bird dog. Tipper thinks this is a fine idea and knowing I am an un-reformed pet-a-holic, she is trying out being a lap dog when ever I come out to pet her - 5-10 times day and night. A friend of JM's took her hunting yesterday, and she and I stayed up to past midnight discussing how she did. (Tipper is a good bird dog, Tipper is a fine bird dog, Tipper is a good dog.........) She also likes her can of warmed dog food after a day hunting and says the post or pre-hunt massage is not bad either. She'd do the birds without any compensation just for the sheer joy of it, but also believes that a good bird dog should be appreciated. Wish the season did not end next week. JM will not get to hunt her again this season.
