Just a quick "Thank You" to the managers out at Dagmar. When they had a crew clearing dead trees near the roads to keep them open, they also had them re-open the boat lane that connects the main channel of the bayou to the Apple Lake parking area and take out.
For those not familiar with this area, a large tree had fallen, forming a 100% blockage of this boat lane. Getting to the take-out will now be much easier as a portage involving making your way up a steep channel side slope will no longer be necessary.
