Need a kayak for Cheyenne

Post by The Red Prophet » Sun Jan 02, 2011 11:11 pm

I am looking for something my daughter can paddle. Something more... Downstream.
She is almost 15, 5'3" 106 lbs.
I have a Wave Sport ForPlay that isn't suited for her at all.
She is about 7" from reaching the toe blocks.
I would like to trade what I have for something that she can use.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Hal

It is not for sale, but I have a 2Fun you are welcome to try out.

The NW Chapter has a roll session on Sat 1/15 @ 8:30 if you want to give it a test run in the pool. If Lee runs again soon, maybe I could meet you there too.

Hal! You need a WHAT for Cheyenne? Can't she use her big brother's Ocoee? Don't let her do that to herself Hal. I think an open boat intervention might be necessary. (;
Paddle on,

Oh, I would dispute that. Still want to get back in a creek yak or C-boat now and then (until my neck or knee talks to me), but what I would really rather be doing is open canoe tandem scenic. Sea kayak tides me over until we have water in the rivers again, so not in total withdrawal.

Different strokes for different folks.

Been there, done that, and happy to just still be on the water. Remind me to talk to you about that the benefits of open canoe or raft, the next time I open my cooler, if we ever paddle together. :) I do share, and have even been known to carry displacement challenged kayakers camping gear.

Call John McNee at Six 80-5two31... He has a "small person" boat he's been talking about doing something with... Crane
