Xmas Eve

A bit of disaster. Shelle and her husband were driving Pam's truck to North Dakota to visit his parent's, ended up in a snowbank somewhere in SD. Long storey short, truck is in Sioux City with a blown engine, plus Pam spent the nite of Xmas eve in the ER with a pulmonary embolus(minor, she's ok). Kids are ok, and hopefully can start drive home in am, in a rental. Then we have to figure out how to get Pam's truck home. The mechanic wanted to know what the #$%^, that rack on her truck was for, when she told him it was for WW canoes and K1's, he had no clue, she ended up calling him a flatlander, which he interpreted as fatlander(not being able to understand the southern accent). Eventually, they were able to break the communication barrier and have a conversation that made sense. Anyone up for a trip to SD in amonth or so? Dale
