Arkansas hiking forum

Post by ouachita hiker » Wed Dec 08, 2010 9:34 am

I just thought I would mention this. I do have a lot of friends here on the ACC forums and I
know that many of you also hike. I have started a forum, http://arkansastrails.eamped.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
to fill a void for info on hiking trails in this state. In the last 5 1/2 months we have grown to 112
members. There is LOTS of good quality info on the site. We recently upgraded and there
aren't any adds anymore. We will have our own URL soon, not in affect but it will be
bacpackingarkansas.com. In fact we now call the site Backpacking Arkansas.
Come visit and if you would like join!

Looking forward to seeing my floating friends!

Tom's right on the money! Good info and good folks. I recently took up backpacking and his forum has been very helpful, not to mention meeting other hikers, and hiking places I've never been before!
Check it out if your a hiker (nice option when there's no water).....of course that's gonna change any day now right?

Just thought I would clarify some things. This site address is arkansastrails. That is what we started as
but when we upgrade the forum back at the end of Nov. we changed it to Backpacking Arkansas. The
new URL will be backpackingarkansas.com but we have had some problems with the change over. It
will happen and soon I hope!

Hi,thanks for posting link to your forum. I joined @ a week ago,but tried to log in today and it wouldnt accept my password .Tried to create new one an it said my username/email was not on record. Looked up trouble shootin options,but being fairly computer illiterate it all looked too complicated. I was lookin for a post i think made w a link re reasonable priced merino wool underwear. Your forum looks like a great resource.Any suggestions other than getting my kids to help me? :? Minna

The new address is backpackingarkansas.com but the old address arkansastrails.eamped.com will also work. If you have problems registering on the new address
please use the old one. Don't know why but some folks, old and new are getting server 401,or is it 402 errors.
