lake degray eagles

Saturday morning of 12-11-10 the water on lake degray @ LENNOX MARCUS turned flat calm and you could hear a pin drop. There were 6 loons spread out in the shallows just being loons and the singing started, echoeing everywhere. The singing went on for about 15 minutes.
2 bald eagles flew over and landed in a tall pine about a 1/4 mile away. They both caught fish and left the area to enjoy lunch.
I never know what I will see and how lucky I will be. Here are a few photos;
