Solo WW Canoe Wanted:
Wanted:
Lightly used, solo, whitewater canoe; preferrably 13 feet or under.
On top of my list is a Mohawk Xl 13.
Would consider other brands/models.
Some outfitting would be good; Royalex layup preferred.
I am not looking for a beater, or a Winter project boat.
Have cash will travel.

Thanks Will, but I'm not a "steep creekin" kind of guy............
I'm 6'4" tall, weigh 205, and have a 38 inch inseam.
I'd have to eddy out & get out of that boat every 30 minutes just to regain circulation in my legs.
Additionally, I couldn't do an overnight on the river in that boat; I am NOT a "travel light" kind of guy.
I want a Mohawk XL 13, or something similiar in size.
I'm not into suffering needlessly.
Boats that I previously owned & used on whitewater:
Mohawk Probe 12
Mohawk Probe 12 II
Mad River Outrage X

I've got a Mohawk solo 13 that I'm looking to sell. It's 2 years old and in great condition. May not be what you're looking for, cause it doesn't have the rocker of an xl13 or probe.

Bob, did you see this on Craig's List?

Steve,
Yes, I did see that Genesis, but I don't want to get into gunwale replacement, or any other restoration projects.
I don't have any problem doing my own outfitting.
Thanks for the heads up anyway.

Re: Solo WW Canoe Wanted:
Bob, if it's just the gunwale replacement holding you back, I'd be interested in doing it, and I've got spare time between now and Christmas. Anyway, if you are interested, I'll try to figure out how much time it would take and come up with a reasonable cost estimate for my labor.
Thanks,
Shep
Thanks,

Thanks for your kind offer, but I'm not going to get involved in any "project" boats.
