Wattensaw Weather Watch for 12/19
Wattensaw Weather Watch for 12/19
Prospects for this weekend are not looking good. Saturday's forcast is calling for a 60% chance of rain and temps in the fifties while Sunday will be sunny but only 33 degrees!
If this doesn't change, I think it might be good to postpone this one to next weekend and try again.

So glad you suggested this. I was concerned about the weather also.

If we don't get to paddle. Can always plan a night out to eat somewhere.
Any ideas?
Minna, we could get together anyway somewhere.

Rain or shine, cold as heck. Still could have a nice dinner out somewhere.

Well, the watch is now on for next weekend. The long range forecast is calling for sunny and 50 degrees on Saturday the 18th. Sunday the 19th is predicted to be partly cloudy and 54 degrees. The best day for our participants is Sunday. We can make a final decision next week.
Karla, eating out is a good idea but Cowper and I have made plans with family and won't be able to come. Thanks!

Cowper, see your pm.

Well the forecast for Sunday the 19th is for 44 degrees and sunny. I am ready and willing to go to Wattensaw if I can get some company. What do you say swamp paddlers?

Meets my criteria. Over 40 degrees. I should be able to tell you by Saturday morning if I am a definite. But if all is left to me I will be there. That is a wishy washy "Yes" vote. I'm going to go buy one of those Omni-Heat jackets. Then you can jump in the cold water and all you do is put your jacket on and all is well. What an invention.

Maybe will come. Will definitely wear my wetsuit just in case for this one.
