Lincoln Lake November 13

Post by Kurt » Thu Nov 04, 2010 8:17 pm

The city of Lincoln is doing their 2nd annual outdoor festival on November 13 at Lincoln Lake. I will be there to spread the knowledge about the canoe club to citizens who are looking at New boats from local outfitters. This looks like a nice place to paddle as well as other outdoor activities.
Check it out. http://www.lincolnarkansas.com/lake.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I will be bringing my boat and looking to paddle the lake as the event winds down about 2:00. If anyone wants to paddle, show up and look for me at the NW chapter booth or around the Lake. The current weather forecast is Mostly Sunny with a high of 60. Nice day to be on a lake in AR. Some other chapter members will be there and probably paddling earlier. Plus the outfitters will have the new plastic available for test runs.

At this point the Lake Lincoln event is on. The weather is a little less great. It's an opportunity to make an excuse to Paddle vs an excuse not to.

I will be there with the family. A little colder than expected, but it should still be a good time.

Sorry if I missed anyone. I spent most of the day on the lake. Turned out to be a great afternoon. The locals report that the lake has eagles in the win
    ter so we'll try to schedule another trip this winter.
