I just upgraded to the Panasonic Lumix TS2. I've used the TS1 for about a year now, and it is truly an awesome water-proof camera! Not only can it take excellent 12.1 megapixel pictures, it shoots video at 720p High Definition with a Class 6 SDHC memory card. I still have the box, editing software, instruction manual, battery, battery charger, HDMI and A/V cables, and wrist strap. There is only one thing that does not qualify it as in excellent condition: it has a small, dent in the front aluminum casing from the wrist strap. This dent however, is only a superficial and aesthetic issue. It does not affect performance nor does it affect the waterproofing feature (up to 10 feet) ... and that is a tested promise! Did I mention it is shock-proof to 3.3 feet? You can buy a used one on Amazon.com for $237.00 + shipping (considered to be in Excellent condition) or a new one for $300. I would be willing to sell it to an ACC member for $175 + the cost of shipping. I have it listed on Amazon and Craigslist, so hurry up ... don't miss out on a great camera for your kayaking or canoeing adventures!!!
If you want pictures (esp. of dent), email me here or at wilkeslr@yahoo.com. The dent is minor when you think of how many excellent quality photos and videos you'll be able to get from it. I've experimented with Olympus and Pentax waterproof cameras, and this, by far, is the best I've come across, next to my new TS2.
Thanks, Sambo

Hey Sam, Mike here. So you got the new one eh? I'm still loving the TS1 I have... I think a bunch of AR Canoe members have pics from the Ocoee on their Facebook that were taken with it! I won't get the TS2 until this one craps out... don't see that happening for awhile though. A year and a half and it's still going strong.
You bout ready to get in that yak yet??

Hey Mike,
Just got back from having surgery in Baltimore last Saturday. I cannot drive for another 4 weeks. Then, they say I can't really get back to my loved activities for up to a year! I'm gonna play it by ear, but with the hardware in my neck, I'm not even sure I'll be able to roll ever again! I'm gonna try, but not until early next summer.
As for the TS2, I love it! I don't know what made me buy it, as the TS1 is awesome as it is (as you have stated in your post). I just felt that the next time I go SCUBA diving, I would like to have a camera rated to 33 feet. It was quite a jump in price, and selling the TS1 would help. I think that $175 is fair, despite the hardly noticeable dent. What do you think?

Aw yeah man, I think damn near half price for a cosmetic defect is pretty fair... I paid $300 for mine and wish I could've found a deal like that when I was shopping for one! What'd you pay for that TS2?

I paid about $300 for my TS2, so $175 for my TS1 is pretty damn fair!

C'mon folks ... somebody must want a waterproof camera!!! I'm serious ... the "dent" is only a cosmetic thing ... you'll get great use out of this camera, and I wouldn't be selling it if my claims were not true!!! It is still completely waterproof up to 10 feet, shockproof up to 3.3 feet, and takes incredible pictures, awesome 720p HD video, and you just can't beat the price!
