Buffalo Point to Rush on Thursday 9/30
I'm headed back to the Buffalo on Thursday. If anyone wants to go with me, PM/email/call. Water is low but floatable. I want to fish a little.
It's so peaceful on that part of the river.

I might be interested in camping as long as it's not out of my boat. I haven't camped in about 30 years. I got a new tent I need to try before the Oct 8-10 campout. Last Saturday was really nice on that section of the Buffy. Not a lot of water, but floatable.
Let me know what you come up with. I'll be back tomorrow night, and see what's up.

Camp Saturday night? Where? I'll check out Buffalo Point campground tomorrow and let you know what it looks like. From the water, it's nice.
Since I don't work, and you do, times/places are kinda up to you. I only live 1 1/2 hours from Buffalo Point.

Minna, are you still on for this? Water is low but (slow) floatable. We paddled a LOT. Beautiful yesterday, but windy. Outfitters expect few people this w/e due to cooler weather. Many places to camp on sandbars. Not sure about the campground.
Anyone else up for a "first time this fall" campout?
I'm going!! Even if it means going alone.
five oh 15 eight 92 oh 5 five = home

Hi Minna,
I went. Raymond went with me. We had a great time. He only got out and drug his boat once. It was windy, but a nice trip. We enjoyed camping at Rush. First time I've camped in about 35 years. I just got home from stocking up on camp food and am heading back up there Friday morning, to stay until Sunday. I paddled that same stretch 3 times in 8 days. Love it!
Hope to see you on the water real soon!

Jan, it's been about a year since I was down at Rush but there was a small A frame cabin on the left with some acreage for sale as you drive into Rush. Might be worth checking it out if it's still for sale. Sign was in bad condition so you may have to look hard.
