Mountain Biking after Lee Creek cleanup?

Post by Shep » Tue Sep 28, 2010 5:09 pm

Since the rain hasn't shown up yet, is anyone interested in going for a mountain bike ride Saturday afternoon at Devil's Den? I was thinking either Fossil Flats or Holt Rd, but it's been 10 years since I road there, so someone else will have to play tour guide.

Waddya Say?

Sharon M and I plan to do loop on Fossil Flats. We don't ride very fast but we can at least point you in the right direction.

I've gotta git right after lunch, but I'm bringing my BMX bike to clean along Hwy 220. You can cover a lot of ground on a bike and just leave your full trash bags (washing machines, truck tires, matresses) on the side of the road. Someone will pick them up. Its fun!

Sounds like Fossil Flats will be the place... Michele, were you planning on doing the full length loop? (including Racer's Hill) I'll see people on Saturday morning (fueled by donuts and caffeine if I can beat Dave Thomas there. 8) )

Thanks,

Shep - It's been a few years since I've done Fossil Flats (sharon knows it better than me) but I believe we'll do the whole loop. I am familiar with Racer's Hill and that will be included, as well as "gravity cavity."
