Could we possibly meet somewhere in Little rock and follow someone that knows where if we go?

Cowper and I will be at the Felsenthal HQ on Saturday to demonstrate boats for the Fall Festival. We will spend the night in Crosset or somewhere near by.

The actual float trip will be on Sunday. We will meet at the HQ at 10:00AM. Bring your lunch.

You can come to the Festival on Saturday or float with us on Sunday or both! Let me know what you are doing so we don't leave anyone out.

DeBo,

If I were you I would stay in El Dorado and drive the 30-40 min to Felsenthal. Crosset is a paper mill and lumber mill town. It stinks really bad, the drinking water is terrible, and the lodging is questionable. El Do has several newer hotels, plenty of dining choices and the water is drinkable. El Do has several chemical plants but the air quality is still much better than Crosset.

Karla,

Drive to El Dorado via US 167 South, take the US 167 South by-pass and head east at the jct. of US 167 South and US 82 East. El Do is a little over 2 hrs from LR and about 30-40 min. from Felsnthal NWR.

Anyone staying in El Do Sat. night should let us know and maybe we can get together for supper somewhere.

We are traveling Fri. p.m. to Magnolia for EHS Wildcat football game. I have plans for Sat. a.m. or I would be there. Sun. is possible but.... very iffy.

Stayin in El Dorado sounds like a good idea. Will see if Gary wants to come and stay overnight and paddle Sunday or not. If not, I may come by myself unless rain brings up some rivers.

I plan on coming down sometime Saturday to go on the float for Sunday. Cowper and Debo, do you need any help on Saturday that my limited abilities could fulfill? If you do, than I can probably plan on coming earlier on Saturday. Could also bring an extra boat, if needed. My second boat is a Wilderness Pungo.

NO, absolutely NOT!

As second place finishers in last weekend's Geocache event at Rendevous, you are expected to go to N33.1483 W92.0572 without further assistance! :poke:

Will this event be at Crossett Harbor or the Refuge HQ? The HQ is off the refuge proper and around the first big curve towards Crosett. Just to muddy the waters and make Felsenthal more confusing.

We might could use an extra boat or two if any of you want to bring them and have plenty of room but we also may need a couple of people to help get the boats loaned to us by OOO back up to the central part of the state so Don can pick them up next week.

Debo, is there going to be paddling on Saturday? We should come Saturday for sure, only problem we are having is paddling the swamp on Sunday with the hot temps in the 90's.

Chris and Felicia, Gary and I would love to have dinner Saturday evening, hoping Minna will come too if she isn't on call. We will write down your #.

Only boat I have to bring, I was planning to paddle my approach, Gary his canoe. We would have room to carry extra boats if needed, just how do we get them to us to bring?

We would like eat with you also. I think that you have Cowper's number.

Don is bringing 4 boats to us Saturday morning. He just can't stay to take them back to Hot Springs in the afternoon. He is willing to come pick them up next week, if we can get them back as far as Little Rock or Benton.

We don't have room for inside storage for 4 boats til next week. Not sure room to carry 4 boats to our house. Debo, are we paddling anything on Saturday or just Sunday? We are still undecided about Sunday paddling.
