For those of you hoping to make this trip, the Corps doesn't have next week's schedule yet. Unfortunately we may not be able to confirm until Thurs or Friday, so stay tuned.

Cheers

Still no word on the SWEPCO website about a Monday release. Our boats are ready for loading. All we need is a confirmation that there will be water.

What time should we plan to meet at the take-out to setup shuttles?

Directions , etc. from an earlier Lupe post:

The meeting place traditionally is the 13th St bridge in Murfreesboro which is the take out.

As you take hwy 26 into Murfreesboro...when 26 turns to the left across from the little Mexican restaurant, you should continue "straight" onto 13th St. Follow this road until you get to the river...don't cross the bridge. Meet on the near side of the river, right side of the road to park and set shuttle. Parking is limited so plan accordingly so that as many can park as possible while still leaving room for others who may need to come and go. Don't park too close to the river as it will be a good bit higher after the generators come on!

It is also a good idea to check out the eddy area there to make sure it is clear of any debris. You all will need to catch this eddy to take out, and it can be a little challenging. We always get some strong boaters to eddy out there first and get out of their boats to help pull others in, and no doubt you all will do something similar on your trip.
