Entergy's Hydro News email sent last Wednesday said Remmel Dam would be releasing 3600 CFS from noon until 3:00 PM this weekend including tomorrow. It takes about 2.5 hours for the water to get to the ledge.

As Owl said, play begins about 2:30. Gets best from 3 on, you will know it is dropping by 4:15, but play will still be decent/acceptable until 4:30 or maybe even 4:45. By 5:00, it will be something you would play if you were coming down a river and just found the spot, but it will be so different than "normal" rockport that you'll probably throw in the towel.
Yes, these 3 hour releases give a very narrow window of play time. But it is still better than pre-re-license days, when at the end of summer it might come up at 3, or maybe at 7, or maybe not at all...
