Rendezvous Entertainment Options!!!

Tom asked me to work on some entertainment ideas for this year's Vous!

Here is what I propose.

First, during the dutch uben and Margaritaville events, we set up the PA for an open mic in the same vicinity. I'll keep the volume down where it is background music for the two main events.

We'll have a sign up sheet for several 10 - 15 minute slots. Would ask that performers bring their own instruments and be prepared with either some Buffet tunes, original tunes or maybe a reworked tune (remember Lord I was born a paddling man, to the tune of the Alman Bros Rambling Man?)

Second, after the evenin meal, raffle, silent auction, etc. I'm proposing an old-fashioned sing-a-long around the campfire! (In Okrahoma we refer to these as "scream alongs"!!) I'll compile suggested tunes and put together some handouts for lyrics for everyone so they can sing along. If we can get it together maybe we could put them on a powerpoint and display the lyrics on a screen. Croakie style!

Please pm me songs you would like to have sung and any chords or lyrics you might have for the tunes. I'm figuring Danger Boy will suggest some Chase tunes!

PS to the Friday night film fest organizers. If you need the PA for the films I would be happy to accomodate. I can run your sound out of a PC through the PA.
