Earlier this summer, "Stan" AKA Margaret Bartelt and I took a four day trip down the Roanoke River in North Carolina. This was a self contained, pack it in pack it out trip camping on designated plateforms in the swamp. We had a great time and came back with some ideas about how to create a similar trail system which could be a benefit to the economy of East and South Arkansas. I got to swim with the snakes, take a few pictures, and pack a touring canoe.
Come join us. It should be interesting!

I think it is tomorrow night, the 24th. At least that is what I was told.

Just a typo. I fixed it on my post. The Central Chapter meeting is on the fourth TUESDAY as usual. That's TOMORROW night 8/24/10
