Boatball/Roll Session/Boat Demo, Tues, Aug 10

Boatball / Roll Session / Boat Demo is scheduled for this Tuesday, August 10, 6 P.M. at Lake Wedington.

Roll - Dust off your kayak & come cool down with some roll practice. If you need some help we should have some experienced paddlers that will be willing to help you with your roll if you want to practice.

Demo - If you've ever wanted to hop in a whitewater kayak & test it out come on out & some of our regulars will let you test drive their boats. Usually have a variety of whitewater kayaks you could check out. Be sure to bring a life jacket that fits you if you have one, I'll also try to have a couple of extras on hand if you don't have your own.

Play - Also, a great way to get a little exercise & work on your paddling skills is to join in a friendly game of boatball. So come on out & play!

Volunteers - Post up if you can come out & help someone with their roll, share a ride in your boat and/or if you plan on playing some boatball so we will know if we've got enough folks to make this evening a go!

Note: Lake Wedington User Fee per vehicle is $5, so don't forget to bring user fee money. Everyone is responsible for paying their own user fee.

Regud, put a glove on, grab the paddle, and wrap some duct tape around the whole thing. Should work. Seriously, have you seen a doctor? Prednisone or similar is probably indicated.
Oh, if anyone wants to stop by my house to carpool let me know. I'm not working tomorrow so should be able to check my email throughout the day. I can carry two more boats and people.

GAME ON! IM THERE. Ill help out anyone that wants to learn to roll or learn some basic playboating.

I know there has to be alot of people looking at this thinking they are not going to know anyone, but this is a GREAT opportunity to come out and learn alot and meet some great folks.

Also, if anyone has a whitewater open boat, bring it on out, i'd like to give it a ROLL.....literally

I just picked up a Jackson Hero at Pack Rat's sale and would love to give it a roll and have others check it out. I should be able to be out around 6.
