Sulli,
I went to Academy Sports in Little Rock and bought a brand new sit on top fishing kayak for $350. It's been awesome. Has bungee deck in back and dry storage behind seat that can hold cell phone, bug spray and a couple other small things. It has 3 rod holders and a paddle holder. I have used it to fish on the lake and I have run it down the Big Piney, N. Cadron, and Spring River. It has been GREAT! It's definatly worth checking out before spending money on a used boat. They have sit in fishing yaks too. They are surprisingly cheap. Price ranges are $199 and up. I have seen some people buy them from Academy sports and turn around and sell them on ebay for a profit. Feel free to ask me any questions about the yak. I love it! Hope this info helps you in your search.
Joe :D

For just a little more... you can have my neat Outcast 9' cataraft with a stainless frame... great fishing rig set up with oars and a motor mount, should you care to troll... it's been used once! $450 Crane lecrane@comcast.net

Found an Old Town Vapor 10 Angler at Academy for $379. Its a little heavier than I would have liked, but I believe will get the job done.
