Lost two spoons at Rec School Potluck

Post by Jim Krueger » Tue Jun 29, 2010 11:30 pm

We lost two spoons that we took to the Sat. night potluck at Rec School. One was a large white kitchen spoon (not slotted) with KRUEGER on the back of it. The other was a metal tablespoon from my Dad's US Army mess kit. It has US on the front of the handle. With all the scattering of folks when the storms rolled in, I'm sure it was picked up in the confusion by accident. We would appreciate your letting us know if you have either spoon. We would like them back. Thanks.

:D Your dad's spoon made it home in a potato salad bowl. I've only just read the lost and found forum or would have responded sooner. I completely understand attachment to such things. Give me your address and the prodigal spoon will return home. Sorry, don't know about the other one.

:D I do appreciate your kindness in rescuing "Dad's" spoon. The other one can easily be replaced at Wal-mart. I've sent you a PM with my address.

Will try to take better care of that spoon in the future! Thanks again!

Isn't this a great group of folks! Good, honest people who are willing to help out their fellow man (or WOman). I'm glad you got your spoons back. You might need 'em next time I come for breakfast . . .

Marlo,

Your dad's spoon is ready to go.
Pls send your mailing address to: summerbee@cox.net

I am on the forum by the grace of a friend of mine. Since the new changes, I can no longer sign in and I'm thinking there's not a webmaster anymore. Nonetheless, I shall get the wandering spoon back to you soon.

Cheers,
